Has a very New York feel with its subway style bathroom white-tiled floor, expansive back bar and thin-strips of wood in the ceiling. This is a very good place for breakfast: Southern omelet (braised pork, onions, collards, black-eyes peas, cheddar, served with grits or potatoes); smoked brisket with jalapeno cheddar grits and 2 fried eggs; or the fried egg sandwich. Later on, I like the daily selection of oysters. They usually have two or 3 types. Also the Dominican braised pork; bahn mi tacos; double-cut smoked pork chop; baby back ribs; dry aged strip steak.
